Ann Demeulemeester Alec Boot

From Sebastien Meunier’s tenure as Ann Demeulemeester’s Creative Director, this pair of militaristic boots features a curved side zip on the internal and a stacked wooden sole, finished with a dramatic rubber lug. Inspiration for this design comes from Military-issue combat boots from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Finished in a polished black calfskin that has developed an elegant patina over time. This pair also features white paint, fraying rope laces and chipping to the black painted wood from years of personal wear, making them one of fashion’s few items that look better when worn in.
